VMTC Who We Are

Our Vision

We envision people encountering true healing—spirit, soul, and body—through the finished work of Jesus Christ and the life-transforming power of the Holy Spirit.

It is our deep conviction that every believer is called to live in the fullness of Christ’s freedom, walking in His love, grace, and restoration. Through prayer, surrender, and the power of God’s Word, we seek to see lives healed, renewed, and set free for His glory.

Our Mission

Rooted in the power of prayer, our mission is to create space for the Holy Spirit to bring deep healing and full freedom to followers of Jesus Christ.

Through VMTC Living Fully, we train and equip believers to minister in Spirit-led prayer, following the model of Jesus. Through schools of prayer ministry, we prepare God’s people to walk in His healing power and help others find freedom, restoration, and wholeness in Christ.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” – Galatians 5:1

Our Core Values

  • As a ministry, we are dedicated to serving in the love and truth of Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit. Our foundational values reflect His calling for us:

    • Walking in the Love, Power, and Guidance of the Holy Spirit – Ministering under the direction of the Spirit, trusting in His wisdom and healing power.
    • Serving with Compassion, Integrity, and Christlike Humility – Reflecting the heart of Jesus by treating every individual with love, dignity, and grace.
    • Upholding Confidentiality and Biblical Ethics in Prayer Ministry – Creating a sacred space of trust where God’s work can unfold freely.
    • Encouraging Spiritual Growth and Discipleship for Prayer Ministers – Committing to lifelong learning, deeper faith, and a growing relationship with Christ.

“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” – Colossians 3:23

Would you like any refinements or additions to align this more closely with your ministry’s vision?

At VMTC We Believe

The God of the Bible

We believe in one true God, who exists eternally in three persons:

  • God the Father – The Creator and Sustainer of all things.
  • God the Son, Jesus Christ – The Savior and Redeemer, fully God and fully man.
  • God the Holy Spirit – The Comforter and Guide, empowering believers for holy living.

“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” – Deuteronomy 6:4
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” – Matthew 28:19

The Authority of Scripture

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, fully authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. It is the divine revelation of God’s truth, serving as the foundation for Christian living and spiritual growth.

  • God-Breathed and Infallible – The Scriptures are inspired by God and completely trustworthy. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
  • The Final Authority – The Bible is the ultimate standard for faith, doctrine, and moral conduct. (Psalm 19:7-11)
  • Transformative and Life-Giving – The Word of God renews minds, equips believers, and leads to spiritual maturity. (Hebrews 4:12)

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Jesus Christ: Fully God, Fully Man, and the Only Way to Salvation

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, the eternal Son of God who took on human flesh to redeem humanity. He is the only way to salvation and reconciliation with God.

  • Fully God, Fully Man – Jesus is the Word made flesh, the exact representation of God’s nature. (John 1:1-4, Colossians 2:9)
  • The Only Savior – Through His perfect life, sacrificial death, and victorious resurrection, Jesus provides the only path to salvation. (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)
  • Lord and King – He reigns in glory and will return to establish His eternal Kingdom. (Philippians 2:9-11, Revelation 19:16)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” – John 1:1-4

“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” – Colossians 2:9

The Power of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live victoriously, minister effectively, and walk in the fullness of God’s purpose. He equips and strengthens followers of Jesus through His presence, power, and spiritual gifts.

  • Empowered for Ministry – The Holy Spirit enables believers to boldly proclaim the gospel, minister through prayer, and bring healing to others. (Acts 1:8)
  • Gifted for Service – He distributes spiritual gifts to encourage, edify, and strengthen the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)
  • Led by the Spirit – The Holy Spirit guides, convicts, and empowers believers to live a life of holiness and victory. (Romans 8:14, Galatians 5:16)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” – 1 Corinthians 12:7

The Need for Salvation:

We believe that all people are sinners in need of God’s forgiveness and that salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Without Him, we are separated from God, but through His grace, we are redeemed and restored.

  • All Have Sinned – Every person has fallen short of God’s perfect standard and is in need of salvation. (Romans 3:23)
  • Salvation Through Christ Alone – Jesus is the only way to the Father, offering forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. (John 14:6)
  • Grace Through Faith – Salvation is not earned but is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” – John 14:6

The Power of Prayer:

We believe that prayer offered in faith is a powerful tool for transformation, healing, and deliverance. Through prayer, we connect with God, align our hearts with His will, and experience His miraculous power at work in our lives.

  • Transformational Power – Prayer brings spiritual renewal and deepens our relationship with God. (Philippians 4:6-7)
  • Healing and Restoration – God moves through prayer to bring physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. (James 5:16)
  • Deliverance and Victory – Prayer strengthens believers in spiritual battles, breaking chains and releasing God’s freedom. (Ephesians 6:18)

“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16

Would you like to highlight intercessory prayer, corporate prayer, or any other specific aspects of prayer ministry?

The Ministry of Healing

We believe that Jesus demonstrated and commanded the healing of the sick, revealing God’s heart for restoration and wholeness. This ministry continues today through the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing healing to body, mind, and soul.

  • Jesus’ Example – Christ healed the sick as a sign of God’s kingdom and instructed His followers to do the same. (Matthew 10:8)
  • Healing Through Faith – Prayer and faith in Jesus release His healing power in our lives. (Mark 16:18)
  • The Holy Spirit’s Work Today – The ministry of healing continues as the Holy Spirit empowers believers to pray for healing and restoration. (James 5:14-15)

“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.” – Matthew 10:8

“They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” – Mark 16:18

Would you like to emphasize specific aspects, such as emotional healing, inner healing, or the connection between healing and faith?

The Importance of Confession and Forgiveness

As followers of Christ, we believe that confession and forgiveness are essential for spiritual healing and freedom. Holding onto sin or unforgiveness can hinder our relationship with God and block the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. But when we confess our sins and forgive others, we open the door to God’s grace, healing, and restoration.

  • Confession Brings Cleansing – When we humbly repent, God is faithful to forgive and purify us. (1 John 1:9)
  • Forgiveness Releases Freedom – Unforgiveness creates a spiritual stronghold, but forgiving others allows God to heal our hearts. (Matthew 6:14-15)
  • Walking in Christlike Love – As God has forgiven us through Christ, we are called to extend that same grace to others. (Ephesians 4:31-32)

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” – Matthew 6:14-15

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:31-32

Forgiveness is not optional—it is a command from Jesus and a key to walking in spiritual freedom, emotional healing, and deeper intimacy with God.

The Transformation of Believers

As followers of Christ, we are called to a life of ongoing growth and sanctification. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, God continually works in us to renew our minds, shape our character, and make us more like Jesus. Transformation is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey of becoming holy, set apart for God’s purposes.

  • A Renewed Mind and Life – We are called to offer ourselves fully to God, allowing Him to transform our thoughts, desires, and actions. (Romans 12:1-2)
  • God’s Ongoing Work in Us – Our sanctification is a process, and God promises to complete the good work He has begun in us. (Philippians 1:6)
  • Becoming Like Christ – Through the Holy Spirit, we are conformed to the image of Jesus, reflecting His love, grace, and holiness. (2 Corinthians 3:18)

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.” – Romans 12:2

“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6

“And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18

Through prayer, obedience, and reliance on the Holy Spirit, believers are continually transformed, growing in faith, holiness, and Christlike love.

Would you like to emphasize practical ways believers can pursue sanctification, such as spiritual disciplines or discipleship?

The Hope of Eternal Life

We believe in the blessed hope of the return of Jesus Christ and the fulfillment of God’s promise of eternal life. As believers, we look forward to the day when Christ will return, bringing final victory over sin and death, and establishing a new heaven and a new earth, where we will dwell with Him forever.

  • The Return of Christ – Jesus will come again to gather His people, judge the world, and establish His eternal kingdom. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
  • A New Heaven and a New Earth – God will renew all things, and there will be no more suffering, pain, or death. (Revelation 21:1-5)
  • Eternal Life with God – Those who trust in Christ will live in His presence forever, experiencing perfect joy, peace, and righteousness. (John 14:2-3)

“For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:1, 4

This glorious hope gives us strength, perseverance, and joy, knowing that our future is secure in Christ.

The Value of Family and Marriage

We believe that God established the family as the foundational institution of society, designed to reflect His love and purpose. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, ordained by God as the cornerstone of a healthy family and a living testimony of Christ’s love for His Church.

  • God’s Design for Family – The family is rooted in God’s divine order, where faith is nurtured, and His love is made known across generations. (Ephesians 3:14-15)
  • Marriage as a Holy Covenant – Marriage is a God-ordained, lifelong union between one man and one woman, established for companionship, love, and the raising of godly children. (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6)
  • A Reflection of Christ and the Church – Marriage symbolizes Christ’s selfless love for His Church, calling husbands and wives to mutual love, honor, and commitment. (Ephesians 5:22-25)

“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” – Genesis 2:24

“Haven’t you read,” He replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” – Matthew 19:4-6

A Christ-centered family is a place of love, discipleship, and faithfulness, where children are raised in the ways of the Lord and generations are strengthened in His truth.

Would you like to expand on parenting, the role of family in discipleship, or biblical responsibilities within marriage?

redemptive power of jesus

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, and through His blood, we receive forgiveness, freedom, and new life. His sacrifice on the cross paid the price for our sins, restoring us to a right relationship with God and granting us the hope of eternal life.

  • Redemption Through His Blood – Jesus’ sacrifice cleanses us from sin and brings us into God’s grace. (Ephesians 1:7)
  • Freedom from Sin’s Power – Through Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin but walk in the newness of life. (Romans 6:6-7)
  • Restored Relationship with God – His redemptive work reconciles us to the Father, making us His beloved children. (Colossians 1:13-14)

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” – Ephesians 1:7

“For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” – Colossians 1:13-14

Through faith in Jesus Christ, we experience complete redemption, the power of grace, and the hope of eternal glory.

Would you like to include more on living in redemption, the role of grace, or the victory we have in Christ?
