Many say, “I’m just waiting on God,” but Scripture shows that waiting was never meant to replace obedience.There are times when God says Be still. And there are times when God says Move.Israel waited at the Red Sea—God said:“Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the people to move forward.” — Exodus 14:15Sometimes what we call waiting is really fear dressed as faith—hesitation disguised as patience. But when we move when He says move, and wait when He says wait, we need not fear the outcome—for the God who calls us also goes with us.David waited for his crown.The disciples waited for the Spirit.Some waiting is commanded and holy.But faith without action is dead (James 2:17).Waiting becomes disobedience when it’s fear, hesitation, or delay of what God already told us to do.If God has spoken—obedience is the next step.Sometimes the real question isn’t: Are we waiting on God?but Is God waiting on us?
